Packaging - Caractéristiques

Lorsque vous achetez une carte mere, que vous le vouliez ou non, vous voyez d'abord la boite :) Autant que celle-ci soie nette et quelle contienne tout le necessaire afin qu'on puisse directement profiter du contenu !

Premiere surprise, la boite represente une AB30 de Shuttle, carte mére equipée de l'i845 d'Intel ! En fait, aucun texte n'apparait sur la boite pour indiquer ce quelle contient. Cependant, un gros autocollant "P4X266" collé sur le dessus nous rapelle de quoi il s'agit. Outre la carte mère, la boite contient le minimum vital :

- une nappe 34 connecteurs ( disquette )
- une nappe 80 connecteurs IDE UDMA66/100
- une petite carte avec deux ports USB supplementaires
- un CD-ROM de drivers
- un manuel

De meme, le manuel indique clairement "AV40/AV40R - Socket 478 - Pentium 4 processor based DDR Main board" mais nous montre la photo de la carte i845/SDRAM ! Heureusement, le manuel correspond bien à la carte en question !

Un mot sur l'installation : elle s'est déroulée sans probleme, cependant il faut une alimentation compatible ATX 2.03 qui dispose de 3 connecteurs d'alimentations pour la carte mère ( le principal et les deux auxilliaires ). Inute d'essayer sans ces deux auxilliaires, ca ne fonctionne pas, nous avons essayé...
